Under the direction of Chief & Council, the Canim Lake Band operates over 100 various programs including but not limited to: education, training, administration, capital, operation & maintenance, treaty & self-government, forestry, capital, health, economic development, social development, lands & membership, wellness program, finance, and housing.

The Canim Lake Band is unique within the local native community where we have developed our own laws governing the election of band council.

Council now consists of 7 members as seen in the picture below, taken on the shores of beautiful Canim Lake, BC.
